非官方消息，中国最大的PX项目已登陆大连。6月22日，大连福佳大化PX芳烃项目已正式投产运营。经广大网友人肉，大连PX第一大股东浮出水面。据悉，大连PX芳烃项目所在的开发区是在大孤山，大孤山位于大连市区东北部，冬春季节北风常刮，那是大连的上风口，国际组织规定这类项目要在距离城市一百公里以外开发，而大连市区距此项目仅20公里。
