Linda, What a fun poem! Mahal ko ito. It reminded me of our pet spider Boris who lived outside my kitchen window for about three weeks until Lindasappeared a week or so ago. He stayed in the window out of the way and ate bugs I don’t like, so we let him stay. I kind of miss him. Which is weird because I really don’t like spiders. How does this compare with the LinkedIn iPad app, which uses a similar web architecture? Until Apple allow auto updates for IOS apps, using a web architecture certainly has benefit. I can’t tell you how many of my apps are out of date, it’s constantly in the double digits!

I am a big fan of dumplings in all forms. Growing up in Japan, I ate a lot of gyoza, shumai, and manjyu. They have many different forms of dumplings. I have never made empanadas but I had them many times. I am glad that I have recently run in to your blog. Going through it, appears to me that you have perfected your empanada recipe. I especially like the leek empanadas. I am going to try making couple with out making my home made dough. But rest assured, I will be trying it from scratch.Thanks for the inspiration.
